Talent Development & Promotion

Talent Development and Promotion initiatives in Greater Richmond provide a vital link between employers, employees, and the education and training communities to expedite the flow of information and planning in the local job market. Regional College-to-Career Fairs match interns, graduating seniors and recent graduates of the region's two- and four-year colleges and universities with area employers and jobs. A Workforce Services Directory, in print and electronic versions, provides contact information on more than 900 area workforce services providers. These workforce development services are provided by the Greater Richmond Chamber through a contract with the Partnership.

Developed by the Partnership, RichmondJobNet.com is an online career resource center for individuals interested in starting or advancing their career in the Greater Richmond region. The site is organized to simplify the job search process using a comprehensive listing of area job boards, tools and tips for job seekers including resume, cover letter and interview preparation. Resources for those interested in starting their own business are available as is a comprehensive career event calendar including job fairs and educational opportunities.
