The variety of work keeps my job interesting. The staff here is very supportive, creative and collaborative.”
Jennifer has more than 13 years of marketing experience. Prior to joining the Partnership in 2008, Jennifer was a partner for four years with Right Angle Consulting, a marketing consulting firm focused on strategic planning and communications, primarily for law firms and other service businesses. In 2000, Jennifer moved to the Richmond region from Denver, Colorado, to be closer to her family that is mainly populated on the East Coast and in Canada. “Richmond is a great place to raise a family. I love the amenities and the activities - parks, festivals, music, events. I like shopping at the outdoor malls here and finding unique items in Carytown. Plus, it’s proximity to the mountains is key as is the accessibility to easily travel to other states.”
Jennifer graduated from State University of New York at Brockport with a B.S. in Health Science and a minor in Dance. Her first visit to Richmond was to Virginia Commonwealth University when she performed with the student dance company in college. “I loved the charm of Uptown Richmond on Main Street.”
She resides in Henrico County with her husband, daughter and their Chinese Shar-pei. Jennifer has been bitten by the social media bug, particularly blogging. She loves to learn - “I’m eager to play the guitar” - and is fond of photography, traveling, and having her large family visit. Jennifer has also successfully located two of her closest friends from Colorado and Connecticut to the Richmond region.
