Greater Richmond, Virginia, USA is located at the midpoint on the East Coast, halfway between New England and Florida.

Greater Richmond is part of the Richmond Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) that consists of 13 counties and four cities and covers approximately 5,700 square miles (14,800 km).
