GIS Business Information Specialist
+1 804 343 6979
Originally from central New Jersey, Marissa is a graduate of the University of Richmond whose passion for the environment and geography transitioned seamlessly into GIS mapping for the Partnership.
In this position, Marissa translates business, population and geographic data into interactive, regional maps. She is enthusiastic about the opportunities GIS offers for the group, and believes it is a powerful, multifaceted tool for the organization.
Marissa’s favorite part of the Richmond Region is the food scene. She believes Richmond’s “quirky culture” — along with affordable living — that sets the area apart from other cities on the East Coast.
So far, the accomplishment she is proudest of winning is the University of Richmond’s 2016 George Modlin Book Award scholarship for her development of a personal scholarly library focusing on sustainability and the environment.
Marissa currently resides in Henrico with her cat, Buddy, and can be found shopping around Carytown or eating at Galaxy Diner in her downtime.
