Whitney, usually the first face you see when visiting the Greater Richmond Partnership, joined our team in 2014 via a contract with a staffing agency. Whitney was offered a full-time position after providing a year of administrative support to the Partnership’s team.
As the Administrative Coordinator, Whitney tackles many responsibilities such as answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, scheduling meetings and updating the contact database. “This position allows me to wear many hats and to showcase my multi-tasking skills,” she said.
Amongst her friends, Whitney is known to many as the ‘organizer’ or ‘mother’ of the group, as she is the ‘go to person’ who keeps everyone organized and punctual. “Whit”, as she is affectionately called by her family and close friends, enjoys traveling, reading, listening to music and attending the local festivals the city has to offer. She explains, “Every year I look forward to attending the Watermelon Festival and the 2nd Street Festival.” She also enjoys walking and playing with her Yorkie-Poo, Tinky.
Whitney received her B.S. in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University.
