Geissbuehler joins GRP’s business development team

The Greater Richmond Partnership (GRP) announces that Bettina Geissbuehler has joined as a Business Development Manager, helping to attract companies to the Richmond Region.
“Bettina’s background in pharma, energy and international marketing aligns perfectly with many of our target industries,” said GRP President + CEO Jennifer Wakefield. “We’re happy to have her join our staff and contribute to our region’s prosperity.”
Prior to joining GRP, Geissbuehler worked at Oceantic Network, an energy industry trade association, as Director of Business Development and Global Outreach, where she translated how the organization drives industry growth, researched adjacent sectors to identify new opportunities and developed outreach strategies that expanded market access and strengthened supply chain connections. Geissbuehler also has marketing and sales experience across the pharmaceutical and consumer goods (FMCG) industries, developing a strong foundation in market research, category strategy and international business practices.
Bettina holds a B.S. in International Business from Elon University in North Carolina, earned through a Dual Degree Program that took her to Germany for a bachelor’s in International Management from ESB Business School. She also completed a master’s degree in Marketing, Services and Communication Management at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
