Richmond, Va. – The Greater Richmond Partnership (GRP) is pleased to announce that Gilbane, a leading construction management firm, has expanded its footprint in the City of Richmond. The company has opened a new 6,600-square-foot office at 1408-B Roseneath Road, underscoring more than 60 years of growth and commitment to Central Virginia. This expansion creates room for 15 additional team members to support Gilbane’s upcoming projects and continued success in the region.
“We’re thrilled to remain in Scott’s Addition, a neighborhood that reflects the energy, innovation, and growth that define our work,” said Maggie Reed, Vice President and Business Leader. “Our new space allows us to better serve our clients, support our team, and be a part of a thriving community.”
Gilbane provides a full slate of construction and facilities-related services – from preconstruction services planning and integrated consulting capabilities to comprehensive construction management, general contracting, design-build, and facility management services – for clients across various markets.
“I love that Gilbane is staying in Scott’s Addition, a neighborhood known for its mix of innovative and creative companies.” said City of Richmond Mayor Danny Avula. “This decision reinforces Gilbane’s dedication to the region and positions the company for future opportunity and growth.”
Gilbane’s larger office space is designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and sustainability while upgrading amenities with a modern layout. The new location also seeks to enhance employee and client experience.
Gilbane has constructed or is currently building iconic, impactful, and transformative projects throughout the Richmond Region, including the Richmond Flying Squirrels’ new baseball stadium, the Virginia General Assembly Building, and the new Central State Hospital.
“Gilbane is a trusted partner in construction throughout our region and we’re excited to have helped with their expansion,” said Jennifer Wakefield, GRP’s President + CEO. “Gilbane’s importance extends beyond their construction services and GRP is proud to call them a community partner.”
