Local real estate investment firm Lingerfelt is capping off 2025 with a group of groundbreakings and lining up more industrial projects for the new year.
The Henrico-based firm is starting development this month on three distribution warehouses at two sites in eastern Henrico County: a pair of spec buildings at its White Oak Distribution Center at 901 Techpark Place, and the first of four warehouses planned to make up the 7 Hills Distribution Center it’s developing with Boston-based Davis Cos. near Richmond International Airport.
Lingerfelt is also planning to break ground in January on WestPort Trade Center, a 175,000-square-foot spec building on Williamsburg Road that it’s developing with D.C.-based CCM Group.
The projects are the latest in Lingerfelt’s push into industrial development after years focused more on office and apartments, the latter of which remains part of its investment strategy.
