Family of companies expands in Greater Richmond to support workforce growth

April 24, 2026

Expansion brings DPR, OES and EIG teams together, strengthening integrated delivery for complex projects in Central Virginia

DPR Construction has expanded its Richmond-area office in Henrico County, completing a 9,100 square foot build-out at its Innsbrook facility to accommodate workforce growth and increasing demand for technically complex projects across Central Virginia. With this renovation DPR now occupies the entire building at approximately 24,000 square feet.
The expansion brings multiple DPR Family of Companies under one roof, creating a more integrated environment for project delivery. The project was supported in part by Henrico County’s Technology Zone program.

The office, now co-located DPR Construction with affiliated companies, includes OES Equipment and EIG Electrical Systems. OES Equipment is a national service provider of jobsite materials, site services, equipment rental, manufactured products, supply chain services, and special procurement, while EIG Electrical Systems, provides electrical expertise for technically challenging and sustainable projects. Together, the teams operate as a coordinated hub for preconstruction, procurement, field execution, and operations support.

Designed by SMBW Architects, the space includes conference rooms, open-office areas, dedicated storage, bulk material and showroom space to support current operations and future growth.

“Bringing our Family of Companies together in one space improves how we collaborate and deliver for our clients,” said Emily Covey, business unit leader at DPR Construction. “As projects become more complex, this setup allows us to move faster, share expertise more effectively, and scale with the region’s growth.”

DPR Construction’s continued expansion in Innsbrook reflects the strength of Henrico’s diverse business community and the impact of programs like the Greater Henrico Technology Zone. The company’s latest investment will advance their exceptional work in construction, enabling other industries in Henrico and across the region to thrive. We wish them much success.

Henrico County officials joined DPR leaders for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, noting the project reflects the county’s focus on reinvestment in existing buildings while supporting long-term job growth.
“It’s exciting to see DPR Construction build their presence in Henrico, where businesses are supported with the resources they need to flourish,” said Henrico County Board of Supervisors Vice Chair Misty Roundtree. “That support helps companies grow in ways that benefit our entire community.”

DPR has operated in Central Virginia since 1996 and continues to expand its presence as demand grows across advanced technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
