International Council honors Partnership with 4 awards

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA (Oct. 7, 2015) – The Greater Richmond Partnership, Inc. received four Excellence in Economic Development Awards for its brochures and programs from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). The honors was presented at an awards ceremony on Monday, October 5, during the IEDC Annual Conference in Anchorage, Alaska.
“From localized community projects, to large scale endeavors, economic development efforts have played a vital role in the global economy,” said JoAnn Crary, CEcD, Chair of the International Economic Development Council. “As we address new and longstanding challenges, these efforts continue to take on even greater importance. The award serves as a salute to pacesetting organizations like the Greater Richmond Partnership, Inc. for leading the charge.”

- 20th Anniversary Brochure in the Special Purpose Print Brochure category
Bronze Awards recipient for the following:
- Global Marketing Efforts in the Responding to Globalization category
- Craft Beverages Brochure in the Special Purpose Print Brochure category
“We’re honored that our organization continues to be recognized for our annual reports, which provide clear and transparent information to our investors and stakeholders,” said Barry Matherly, Partnership President and CEO. In the last five years, the Partnership has won 10 awards from professional organizations for its various annual reports.
IEDC’s Excellence in Economic Development Awards recognizes the world’s best economic development programs and partnerships, marketing materials, and the year’s most influential leaders. These awards honor organizations and individuals for their efforts in creating positive change in urban, suburban, and rural communities.
